I am a Frenchman living in Helsinki, Finland. I have been playing Irish music there for more than 30 years.

My Experience

Over my 30 years in Finland, I have regularly played semi-professionally and for fun with friends and fellow band-members in many pub events, formal concerts and festivals, and at weddings and parties. These experiences have enabled me to build up a network of contacts throughout Finland’s Irish music scene.

I am an Irishman living in Helsinki, Finland. I have been a folk ballad singer altogether for more than 35 years, for most of that time I have had my own band Bregáin and have toured and travelled across Europe and also in Australia and America.

My Experience

I have played in numerous pubs, clubs, restaurants and bars and also been a music pub manager for a few years. My vocation as a wordsmith has led me to grow a solid repertoire of hundreds of traditional Irish songs and I've tried my hand in song writing as well.

During my 30 years in Finland, I have been acting in theatre plays in the main capital area, Helsinki, and appeared in several TV/Films. I have also participated in many pub and small theatre events. My voice is very well known by the Finnish public for radio and television. My knowledge of British and Finnish cultures and literature has given me the ability to understand and hence satisfy a wide cross-section of the public.

I am an Irishman living in Helsinki, Finland. Trained in Ireland, I have been a professional actor for almost 30 years with extensive experience on stage and TV and film and as a voice artist in the radio and recording industry.

My Experience

For 20 years I have been based in Finland and involved in local theatre and also cabaret, music, sketch comedy and stand-up events in public houses around Finland and Estonia. I have a very good knowledge and experience of Finnish and Irish cultural scene, no matter the language. My writings have been published and read in Finland and abroad. Much of my professional work includes voice recording for film and video and animation production for the commercial and artistic and independent sectors.

I know local theatre and pub culture in Finland. I can arrange for your need any stand-up comic or small theatre act. I can write and create material tailor-based on a theme of your own. I can perform one-man shows with musicians with an Irish or British content. For example past shows include works on Beckett, Joyce, W.B.Yeats and Oscar Wilde. With the ETC Theatre Company I performed and wrote many sketch shows based on contemporary Finnish topics all over Finland. In 2012, I will be performing shows for University and other venues based on the works of Charles Dickens and Jonathan Swift.
